FIJI RUGBY UNION

Known as the "Flying Fijians", the players who make up the Fiji national Rugby Union team and the Fiji Sevens team are regarded as some of the most entertaining and athletic on Earth.

Currently ranked 9th in the world, Fiji is a rugby-mad nation boasting over 80,000 players from a population of 950,000.
In the 2007 Rugby World Cup, Fiji beat Wales 38-31 to make the quarter finals.

Fiji has won the most Pacific Tri-Nations Championships of the three teams participating and is the birthplace of All Black and Wallabies rugby legends Joe Rokococo, Sitiveni Sivivatu and Lote Tuqiri.
