Iconic Australian sports brand KooGa are proudly giving up their corporate hospitality facilities this week to kick off a series of charity initiatives for the season.

With six confirmed charity events spanning an eight week period KooGa will be gifting their corporate boxes to selected charity organizations in QLD, NSW and VIC.

The charities KooGa have aligned with for the above mentioned events are the Starlight’s Children’s Foundation, the Adam Scott Foundation and Autism QLD.

The first event held at the Richmond Football Club over the weekend was a hit with KooGa, Starlight Children’s Foundation families and the Tigers all coming out with a win.  Starlight family guests were treated to a tour of the new Tigers ME Bank facilities including a sneak peak of the team in training, a pre match corporate dining experience with a Presidents address, guest speakers and reserved seating to watch the Tigers in action at the MCG.

“We are glad that the Starlight Children’s Foundation families enjoyed the experience at the Richmond Football Club as much as we did! A big thank you to the Richmond Football Club for helping us make the event a great one” Said Managing Director Tyron Brant.

“The families had such an incredibly great time” said Starlight’s Family Relationship Coordinator Emma Puddy who worked with her team to coordinate the charities family members who attended.

The second and third KooGa charity initiatives are planned to take place this coming weekend where KooGa will again give up their lavish corporate box seats and catering at both the QLD Reds (Suncorp Stadium) and Brisbane Lions (Gabba Stadium) matches, this time for Adam Scott Foundation and Autism QLD guests.

KooGa’s charity plans for 2011 will only enhance the work the company has done so far. “We wanted to come up with a way where we could give back to charitable foundations by using our resources. It’s simple really; we have access to money cant buy opportunities and sponsor benefits that we want to share in the hope of bringing smiles to the faces of some families who may be going through a hard time”.  Explained KooGa Managing Director Tyron Brant.

The KooGa organization already donates in excess of $500,000 annually to charity within Australia and the South Pacific but “this approach for us feels more personal” continued Brant.
